Two identical venues built in Northern and Southern Alberta in the 1950s. As part of the Province of Alberta’s centennial celebrations, both the Edmonton and Calgary Jubilee Auditoriums received facelifts in 2005. Renovations allowed for improvements in audience seating and sight lines, acoustic quality, temperature control, lighting capacity, and lighting technology.
