Scott Miller – Principal
Scott Miller is a Principal and Senior Theatre Consultant at DWD. A highly skilled and meticulous technical director, Scott works tirelessly to create exceptional audience experiences for live performance events. As an arts advocate, he is an active member of Vancouver’s dynamic performing arts community.
Garnering a breadth of experience within a wide range of venues over his 20-year career, Scott possesses an intimate and in-depth knowledge of the technical and systemic needs of performing arts venues. Working as a technical director, production manager, and live event technician, Scott has helmed the technical departments of many top performing arts companies across Canada, including Neptune Theatre, Atlantic Theatre Festival, Arts Club Theatre and the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.
Scott is a member of the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, and InfoComm Inernational. He is also a board member for Vancouver’s Rumble Theatre.
Scott volunteers annually as a support driver for the Long Reach Long Riders, raising funds for theatrical charities including The Actor’s Fund of Canada.
